Hi! I’m Hannah with Clockwork Equine LLC. I’ve been around horses my whole life and through all my experiences with them, I’ve realized how many horses are living silently with pain or restrictions. Often called “naughty” or “stubborn,” many of these horses are simply trying to communicate their discomfort.

I received my certification from Equissage as a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist, and it’s my goal to help horses feel and move their best through massage and stretching.

Equissage was founded in 1989 by certified massage therapist Mary A. Schreiber as an equine sports massage company. In 1992, it introduced the world's first Equine Sports Massage Therapy certification program, which has since trained tens of thousands of providers worldwide.

So why “Clockwork Equine?” I collect mechanical clocks and love watching the gears run. If there’s just one small imbalance or imperfection in the gears the clock will run incorrectly or won’t run at all. This seemed to mirror how horses work - if one part of their body is off, other parts compensate creating imbalances, tension, pain, and eventually injury.

Clockwork Equine LLC is located in Ojai, CA and travels throughout Ventura County to visit clients.
